I have 2 daughters, 4 siblings, many dozens of nieces and nephews and a strong family
powwow tradition.I have been a powwow dancer since I was 12 years old (never mind how
many years!).I started out as a fancy shawl dancer, became a jingle dress dancer, and finally
a traditional dancer.I also have a side business of making custom powwow dance outfits
for other dancers.

I have spent most of my career either teaching in schools or working in youth programs with
tribal young people with the goal of passing on our language, traditional teachings and tribal
lifeways.
